I've seen some people suggest voting reform on here in general terms, but I feel that this is a good specific measure for us to support.
We would elect the Governor of Pennsylvania through an instant runoff voting system instead of our current first-past-the-post system. This would eliminate the spoiler effect when electing the Governor. Someone with center-left political views could rank the Green candidate as his first choice and the Democrat as his second choice. Conversely, someone with fiscally conservative views could rank the Libertarian candidate first and the Republican candidate second, all without worrying about the "other guy" winning because he voted for a minor party candidate.
This system would give all parties a fair shot at the governorship, and would ultimately create a more perfect democracy.
